Georgetown 1 mile Town offers Duty Free Shopping, Museum, Banking, Restaurants, and local Bus Transportation to many districts on the island.
Oceanfront Restaurant/Bar within a 2 minute walk. It has a huge deck wth tables & chairs and umbrellas, overlooking the ocean, 7 Mile Beach, beautiful sunsets and Georgetown Harbour. Great food and reasonably priced. They serve breakfast, lunch & dinner
4 Dive Centers (Within a 5 minute drive) They offer great West Coast shore diving behind their properties and also Boat Dives to a Ship Wreck, Stingray City and the Wall.
Owen Roberts Airport-10 minutes drive
"Smith Cove" Beach -2 minutes drive Powdery white sand beach and crystal clear water, great for snorkelling, swimming or picniking under the shade trees
Supermarket 1 1/2 miles or 5 minutes drive. We can pick up some groceries for you if you send a list before you come and it will be ready for you when you arrive. Just a $20.00 pick-up fee
Service Station Convenience Store, -(open 24 hours ) 2 minutes drive
"Pure Art" Art/Craft Gallery - 2 minutes walk. They have lots of local art and crafts.
Geogetown Oceanfront Park 2 minutes walk. Lush tropical foliage, picnic areas, covered cabanas, BBQ area, all overlooking the ocean and beautiful sunsets. Also Kids playground. Great for weddings or parties too
TRANSPORTATION
AIRLINES All major airlines fly to Grand Cayman so getting here is easy. Just a mere 1 hour + flight from Miami on American Airways and Cayman Airways. Come from other destinations with Continental, Delta, US Air, American Airlines, British Airways, Cayman Airways, Air Canada, Westjet. There are daily flights to Havana, Cuba and Jamaica, and twice weekly flights to Honduras.
BUS The main bus depot is one mile away from us in Georgetown and the buses go to all the Districts on the island.
TAXI To get to and from the airport to ELdemire's, you have to take a taxi or rent a car. The fare is US$15.00. You can also use taxi services to get around.
RENTAL CARS We would be happy to arrange a rental car that you can either pick up straight from the Airport or they will pick you up at Eldemires' and take you back to their office to sign the Rental Lease. All major car rental companies are on the island.
BICYCLES Available for rental and the cost is US$15.00 daily and $100.00 deposit. You can reserve on our on-line Reservation Sheet. Don't worry...There are no hills to go up and down. We are only 10 feet above sea level.
